Background and objective

PAPSTAR GmbH, a leading company in the field of disposable tableware and service packaging, presented itself at HOGA Nuremberg 2025 with a unique and innovative exhibition stand concept. The company, which has been operating successfully in the industry for over 45 years, has made a name for itself with high-performance product range concepts and sustainable product solutions.

The aim of the trade fair appearance in Nuremberg was to emphasise the sustainable orientation of the product range and at the same time to present a versatile stand design that appeals to and satisfies the needs of B2B customers. The trade fair stand combined traditional product presentation with an interactive service concept in order to present the possible uses and sustainability of PAPSTAR products to visitors in the best possible way.

Stand concept and design

The stand design was divided into two components that familiarised visitors with different aspects of the PAPSTAR brand.

The stand reflected the tried-and-tested elements of previous concepts and thus contributed to the brand's long-established recognition value. At the same time, it was complemented by a new component that emphasised the innovative character of PAPSTAR products.

The right-hand side of the trade fair stand was dedicated to the interactive street food-style service concept, with the street food truck standing out as the central highlight. The detailed textile graphics, a thematically coordinated floor design and the serving counter created an impressive illusion of a real truck. A composting machine served as the unifying element of the stand concept, illustrating the recycling cycle of used disposable tableware and thus reinforcing the focus on the sustainability and innovation of PAPSTAR's products.

Challenges during realisation

One of the biggest challenges in designing the trade fair stand was combining functionality and aesthetics. The aim was to combine the product presentation and the service concept in such a way that both areas were clearly delineated from each other, yet harmoniously integrated into the overall concept. In particular, the illusion of the street food truck with the integrated counter placed high demands on the graphic and structural realisation.

Special features and eye-catchers of the trade fair stand

The stand concept was characterised by numerous highlights that set it apart from other trade fair appearances. The stand design was characterised by an unmistakable black frame that not only stood out visually, but also offered remarkable flexibility. This modular concept could be adapted to different stand spaces as required. This concept allowed the stand to be shortened in the centre if required without compromising its impact or functionality.

Papstar - laid table with disposable products

The clear separation between the traditional product presentation on the left and the interactive service concept on the right enabled a varied and emotional approach to B2B customers. A space-saving serving counter, where currywurst in recyclable Papstar products and drinks were served, was not only an emotional highlight, but also emphasised the functionality of the design by serving as both storage space and a booth.

The floor design of the exhibition stand also contributed to the visual impact: While the left-hand side had a wooden floor look that perfectly matched the presentation of the products, the right-hand side attracted visitors' attention with a printed stone-look floor.

Conclusion and personal impressions

With this trade fair stand, PAPSTAR GmbH once again demonstrated how successfully tradition and innovation can be combined. The creative and flexible stand concept impressed with its clear message, emotional appeal and sustainable orientation.

We have enjoyed a close and successful collaboration with PAPSTAR for decades and look forward to many more exciting projects. PAPSTAR's next trade fair appearance recently took place at Internorga in Hamburg. This innovative stand concept was once again impressively showcased there.
